Congratulations to Anita Comeyne, October’s VOM!

November’s Volunteer of the Month is Anita Comeyne

Mrs. Comeyne is always busy with work as a Physician Assistant, mother, and volunteering at our school. Anita and her husband Bruce have two sons at King’s Grant.   Their oldest, Ethan, is in Mrs. Murphy’s 3rd grade class and Owen in Mrs. Reed’s 1st grade class.

Anita is the co- room representative for Owen’s class and the room representative for Ethan’s class. She is the class assistant for Mrs. Murphy. Anita is also part of our PTA’s Continuous Fundraising team, she can tell us how to link our grocery discount cards so that the school receives credit when we shop and she is collecting the used drink pouches as another fundraiser for our school.

We appreciate all you do Anita, thank you!

Birthday Book Club

The library is offering a Birthday Book Club

If you choose, you can purchase your book from Amazon and then send it (discreetly) to the library “birthday book” collection.   The books can be purchased from anywhere but we have made wishlists available on amazon, for your convenience.

On your child’s birthday, we will send him/her a birthday card to come get their book from the library and be the FIRST person to check it out!  We will also have a nameplate in the book, honoring the birthday child for years to come.  Call the library at 648-2819 with any questions.  If you have a summer birthday child, we can surprise them with an early book in June.  Below are carousels for different grades marked accordingly.
